First Aid at Work Refresher

It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers must provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If an assessment of first aid requirements highlights the need for qualified First Aiders, then this course will provide you with suitable and highly trained staff.

This course is to refresh and renew already qualified Health & Safety First Aid at Work personnel. The course re-establishes the skills and knowledge taught on the three day course and also re-educates in any changes within the First Aid and CPR guidelines.

Successful completion of this course gives candidates a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is suitable for employers who have identified a requirement for Emergency First Aiders at Work or an Appointed Person in their First Aid Needs Assessment. The course emphasis is on preventing situations from worsening, and learning the vital lifesaving skills that a trained Emergency First Aider can use until help arrives.

Paediatric First Aid (6 Hours)

This course in Emergency First Aid has been developed for those who are responsible for the supervision of children and babies. The course is for persons who supervise children whilst parents remain on the premises.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

This course is not only for people who have access to a defibrillator, it is also for those who don't. With defibrillators now being in more and more public locations we feel that along with CPR this is a life skill that should not be ignored.

Our courses are taught in a way that will encourage people to act in the event of someone becoming unwell. Defibrillators are not a scary medical device to use and should the need arise, we know that anyone who has been on our course will be more than able and confident to act appropriately.

All our courses are taught using the most up to date UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Basic Fire Training

Fire Marshal/Warden

This course is for members of staff who are nominated Fire Marshals/Wardens. It provides knowledge and understanding of fire safety risks and how to prevent fire, and teaches how to co-ordinate and lead fire safety and evacuation procedures in the workplace.
