Enhanced and exclusive Manufacturer Discount Schemes (MDS)
Ordering a brand without a Manufacturer Discount Scheme will often result in purchasing at a loss. It’s therefore important that practices try and maximise purchases on products that have MDS schemes. We have over 75 MDS schemes that we have negotiated on your behalf, with 8 of those being enhanced deals, meaning we have more products and/or better discount. 28 of these deals are exclusive to PSUK, with manufacturers including Alliance – Hydromol, Bayer, GSK, Lifescan and MediQuest. March 2023 data for these exclusive schemes gives the average member a rebate of £233.86, which covers your membership fee and then some!
Dedicated Dispensing Doctor sales team
We are your business consultants, specialising only in dispensing doctor support. APM
APM is the PSUK generic scheme that works in the background to ensure members are getting the best priced generics regardless of what PIP code is ordered. Recent comparisons show that Generic Switch pricing is up to 10% more competitive than alternative price lists.
Access to study days and training materials
PSUK live is our extremely popular training programme that is free to all PSUK members. PSUK study days are held throughout the year at various locations up and down the country, with presentations given by industry leaders on a variety of topics to drive development of staff in practice and also gives you the opportunity to accrue CPD hours. PSUK live + online is our online learning platform, gives members access to this learning content for those that cannot attend live training events.

Brand Switch & Generic Switch
As part of your membership, you have access to the PSUK Portal, a platform that not only allows you to place your regular dispensary order, check historic invoices and keep a track of your monthly spend through PHOENIX, but you can also take advantage of the Brand Switch and Generic Switch function. These commercial deals provide practices with the ability to activate automatic switches in the system at product level to ensure more profitable alternatives are supplied.
KEYS
Access to a special allocation of protected stock called ‘KEYS’ which essentially means you have access to product regardless of what is going on in the market, protecting you from short term market shortages and delivering market leading availability. This ensures that PSUK members will be able to supply their patients with the generics that they need, and reduce any time spent trying to source out of stock products.
PSUK Connect
Our comprehensive Dispensing Management System is designed to assist in the effective management of your dispensary. PSUK Connect includes built-in patient medical records and full hardware system, and other invaluable functions including; EPS R2 patient nomination, prescription endorsing and electronic claims submission, comprehensive ordering and stock control, Prescription Tracking Manager (PTM), and nursing home support.
Golden Tote
Our semi-automated, repeat prescription solution only accessible through PSUK Connect. Built on barcode scanning technology, Golden Tote allows for seamless prescription assembly direct from the PHOENIX tote, completely eliminating the need to double handle stock from totes. It’s a fantastic way of saving precious time, by eliminating the need to repeatedly check off invoices and putting orders away multiple times a day and it also significantly reduces the requirement for all the peripheral stock management tasks such as, stock rotation and date checking.
PSUK eShop
Our eShop gives you access to non-dispensed items, which we have negotiated preferential rates through top suppliers to reduce costs for your practice as a whole. Whether this be for single use items such as prescription bags, disposable curtains and blister packs to staff uniforms, fridges and even shelving solutions, you can access these products through your PSUK member support website.
Monthly magazine
PS magazine is our monthly publication, jam packed with articles giving advice and guidance on purchasing advice, market updates, PSUK news and updates and industry expert opinion pieces.
